Fas Kralı VI. Muhammed'in en güvenilir isimlerinden biri, 2006 yılından bu yana Fas Kralı'nın özel temsilcisi (Gezici Büyükelçi / Ambassador-at-Large) ve Fas eski Turizm Bakanı Serge Berdugo, iş insanı Samir İsgenderoğlu’nu özel konutunda kabul etti.
KASABLANKA – Fas gezisi kapsamında önemli temaslarda bulunan Samir İsgenderoğlu, Fas’ın siyasi ve kültürel hayatının en etkili isimlerinden biri olan, Kral VI. Muhammed'in Danışmanı ve Özel Diplomatik Görevler Temsilcisi Serge Berdugo ile bir araya geldi. Samimi bir atmosferde gerçekleşen görüşmede, iki ülke arasındaki dostluk bağları ve kültürel paylaşımlar ön plana çıktı.

Görüşme sırasında İsgenderoğlu, Berdugo’ya Türkiye’nin ve İstanbul’un sembollerini taşıyan özel tasarım bir tabak takdim etti. Berdugo ise İsgenderoğlu’na, bölgenin tarihi ve kültürel derinliğini yansıtan eserler sundu. Görüşmede dikkat çeken en önemli detaylardan biri de, İsgenderoğlu’nun Serge Berdugo’ya sunduğu Sabir Şahtaxtı tarafından yazılmış olan "Soykırımdan Hocalı'ya" isimli kitap oldu. İsgenderoğlu, ziyaret sonrası yaptığı açıklamada; "Fas’ın kıymetli devlet adamlarından Sayın Berdugo ile bir araya gelmek ve karşılıklı fikir alışverişinde bulunmak oldukça verimliydi. Misafirperverlikleri ve kültürel diyaloğa verdikleri önem için teşekkür ediyorum" ifadelerini kullandı.
Bu üst düzey buluşma, iki ülke arasındaki bireysel ve kültürel projelerin gelecekte daha da ivme kazanacağının sinyallerini verdi.

During the meeting, Isgandaroglu presented Berdugo with a specially designed plate bearing the symbols of Turkey and Istanbul.
